Residential Treatment for Veterans
Pyramid Military Therapy & Recovery’s residential treatment provides a safe and secure environment —free from guilt, judgment or shame — for veterans to take the initial steps towards recovery. Veterans in our inpatient program live on-site in a structured setting with access to education, counseling and medical care as they work through underlying trauma and ultimately find freedom from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.
Inpatient rehab for veterans
Residential treatment might be the first step on a veteran’s recovery journey, or the next step after completing a drug or alcohol detoxification or withdrawal management program.
If you’re a veteran seeking treatment for substance use and/or mental health disorders, a residential program might be right for you if:
- You’ve initiated treatment in the past but relapsed
- You’re concerned that daily stressors may inhibit your success in outpatient treatment
- You lack an external support system
Pyramid Military Therapy & Recovery Programs’ admissions team is available to help you determine which treatment option is best for you based on your unique needs.
About our veterans recovery center
At Pyramid Military Therapy & Recovery Programs, we focus on educating veterans about the effects of trauma as well as substance use and mental health conditions. Our clinical staff provide the tools and skills veterans need to be successful in recovery beyond inpatient treatment.
Treatment curriculum built just for veterans
Our trauma-informed programs utilize a process therapy approach tailored to the unique needs of those who have served. Evidence-based treatment modalities based in polyvagal theory help to reprogram the autonomic nervous system and “fight or flight” response in individuals who have experienced trauma.
Through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT), clients and clinical staff work together to address complex behavioral health issues such as substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression and anxiety.
Unparalleled access to care
We understand the unique issues that veterans face when readjusting to civilian life. If you are a veteran who is not currently insured or in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) system, we’re here to help you navigate the process of getting connected with resources needed for treatment. In addition, we never want lack of transportation to present a barrier to much-needed care, so we provide complimentary transportation for individuals local to Dallas, PA.
Structured schedule
Our residential treatment program for veterans is highly structured and intensive, allowing clients to focus purely on their recovery and wellness without triggers, stressors or distractions.
